I wish that I had known Critter Control earlier.
I gave my squirrel problem to two different individuals I found on the internet. The first seemed to fix the problem for two years. The second did next to nothing but talk and did nothing to honor his one year warranty.Both charged a lot of money. As a result we experienced more squirrel damage then necessary.
Critter Control documented an extermination and prevention plan so large in scope I wondered how they could get it done in one day.

The two man crew came, completed inspection, advised concerning items to be done as follow-up to the contractor that replaced the house's siding, forwarded work order and departed. Crew allowed that with the completion of the work order the contract guarantees would be in full force. Inspection found no other deficiencies that needed correcting. All interface with the crew was professional and satisfactory to this client.

I am very happy that I chose Critter Control. The afternoon I called and spoke with Kimberly, she had Mark out to check my concerns of noises in the attic. He was very thorough in checking out the problem and taking pictures. He patiently explained what had to be done and provided a brochure to help me better understand. The next morning before 8 am, Lupe and his crew were here and immediately began their work, keeping me informed of everything going on the entire day. Got ready to repaint the ceiling over our media room, where I first spotted the urine stain that prompted us to have the entire house made rat free and I saw what I thought were new stains. The inspector photographed the attic from the inside and showed me that the stains were from leaks in my roof which I will have repaired. Only a few minutes to show that Critter Control's original fixes were still working.

Terry came out to my house to replace the three soffit vents with the correct size. His work order was not written up correctly, and he had to schedule another visit to return with the right parts. He called and discussed this with me in detail. He was very apologetic, and said they would come back out and get it right.
Manuel came to my home to follow-up on the dead critter that was still in my structure somewhere. Again, a complete search was made, but the remains could not be found. As a entire month had elapsed since my main service had been completed, it was thought that whatever critter may be left in my structure had been consumed by decomposition. There was no smell due to the bags of odor absorber that had been left with me. He scheduled a follow-up appointment with me for approx. ten days time.
Terry came to my home for an emergency dead critter location and removal. After running a fiber optic camera through numerous soffit vents on the outside, and into every bay between wall studs on the inside, we could not find the critter. He gave it a valiant try, but was not successful. He left me with several odor absorbing bags, and a spray deodorizer which helped a lot. He did not want to give up.

Nathan came to the house for the first post service follow-up. We determined that I still had a dead critter somewhere in my structure. He ordered an emergency extraction for ASAP. Good service !!
Manuel came back to my home as scheduled for the final follow-up visit. No smell remained of the last missing critter. He recommended that I keep the odor absorbing bags up for the rest of there usable life of approx. two months just to be safe. Should there be any problems, he told me to call the office and they would come back out as needed. He completed one last perimeter check, and ordered replacements for the three soffit vents that were removed during the critter search and replaced with the wrong size temporary ones.
Terry came back out to my home and installed the three correct soffit vents and spray painted them to an approx. match to my house trim color. Again, Terry called to update me every step of the way, as I did not need to be home for this final work to complete the job. I confirmed this work the next day when I was home on Good Friday. He delivered as promised.

The arrival time was very prompt. Manuel was polite and professional. I pointed out areas of concern which he inspected. However, he almost missed two areas in front of the house that had been sealed but looked as though some chewing had occured. I pointed out what looked like pieces of shingle in my gutter. At that time he found that the roof had been chewed. He said that it did not look as though something had gotten into the house. He placed some sheet metal in that spot.

There was confusion when scheduling home checks and completing repairs when rain interrupted a work day. There was a large amount of debris (screening, foam, sheet metal) left around the home and on the roof after the critter proofing was complete. The staff that did show up was courteous and handled themselves professionally.
This was for a 1-year post-remediation inspection. Prompt, efficient, notified me 25 minutes prior to arrival, arrived on time, apprised me before during and after the work to let me know that all was good and to inform me of additional work done to seal potential gaps.

They were thourough in explaining the process. On time for each service and if running
behind they called, which i appreciated. The day that the team of 6-8 guys came, the only
complaint i had was, i asked them to use the guest bathroom only and they ignored my request when i left my home for the final process.(noone could be inside for safety reasons for a couple of hours, so they suggest you leave home.) Other than that, they were courteous, friendly and professional. Once the job was over there was a problem with our AC and they immediately contacted a AC/Heating company to fix the problem and he fixed it in no time. So far i am satisfied and feel good knowing that they will come back every year to check our home and if we suspect something in the attic prior to the annual inspection, they will come then as well. I do think something died in the walls after the initial process, because i smell something in my den area, but its inevitable to retrieve so im just praying the rodent will decompose quickly. Its better dead then in my home alive. Overall, very satisfied.

The house is better now that the work has been successfully completed: the rats and other unwanted critters are gone, the old insulation has been removed and professionally replaced. I also signed up for continued pest control in the future because I liked the humane way the animals were dealt with along with the efficiency of the methods.

This job was a long process because could not catch the mouse. But after all the hard work and countless times Manuel came back. We are convinced the mouse has vacated the premises.
